FAQ

Where can I park when visiting the church?

The church parking lot is located on the east side of the church property. You enter from either Alabama Street or Vermont Street. Parking for church guests is free of charge.

Where do I enter the church?

There is an entrance off of Vermont Street and also off of Delaware Street. The Delaware entrance is available only for Sunday services. The Vermont Street entrance is available for Sunday services, and other services and special events. During business hours Monday through Friday, and due to the Shalom Daycare ministry, the only access is through the secured business entrance, which is off of Vermont Street.

What's available for my children during the 10:30 service on Sundays?

During the 10:30 worship service on Sundays, a staff member from Shalom Daycare is available, if parents wish, to care for children under 3 years old. Children ages 3 to 8 are invited to participate in Children Worship and Wonder, which is held during the 10:30 service in the Wesley Room adjacent to the sanctuary. Children 8 and older are invited to remain in the sanctuary for the service. Children’s service bulletins and crayons are available.

Is the church handicapped accessible?

Yes, the Vermont entrance has a wheelchair ramp and there is an elevator to reach the upper level, where the sanctuary is, and an entrance ramp to the sanctuary.

How can I make a donation to the church or its ministries?

There is an offering plate during services. In addition to either cash or a check, you have the option of a secure donation through PayPal on this website. See “Giving” on the top menu on the home page.

The first Sunday of each month we share in communion and donations are received to help with the church’s urban outreach ministries, helping our downtown homeless and others in need.

The second Sunday of each month is Mission Sunday, and offerings go to help with causes in the wider Indianapolis community, the nation and the world.
