About Us
Welcome to the The Intersection page.  We are new community of faith forming as part of Roberts Park United Methodist Church, located at the corner of Vermont, Alabama, and Mass. Ave. in downtown Indianapolis. We now gather for worship most Sunday evenings at 5:00 pm.  Worship is casual . . . come as you are!

We are an open community of Christians who strive to live as faithful followers of Jesus.  Our goal is to create worship experiences that are innovative, creative and experiential, that utilize a wide range of musical styles and other arts, and allow all who participate to make deeper connections with God and each other.  As a community, we hope to create a safe place for people to explore their beliefs about God and to challenge each other to grow deeper in our faith.  We also challenge each other to live what we profess in worship by emphasizing the need to engage in acts of justice, peace, compassion and mercy in the world.  Since 1823 Roberts Park United Methodist Church has been the heart of the city of Indianapolis for many. We welcome everyone as beloved children of God regardless of where you are in your spiritual journey.

Get Involved

Become a volunteer in the community.  Opportunities range from serving lunch on Sundays, to working in our urban garden, to connecting with the kids at School 58.  Check out our website page or sign up to be part of our email list for more information.
