Roberts Park offers a midweek opportunity to slow the pace of our lives and focus upon God’s presence. The service is called “20 Minutes for God,” and is held at 12:10 p.m. every Wednesday in our Chapel. More intimate than Sunday worship services and grounded in the monastic tradition, 20 Minutes for God invites each person to reflect on Scripture and participate in individual prayer and meditation. As its name indicates, 20 Minutes for God concludes at 12:30 p.m.
“Be still and know that I am God.” These words from Psalm 46 remind us of the importance of slowing down, easing the pace of our lives and making space for silence. With our hectic schedules and full agendas, however, this is often easier said than done. Please join us any Wednesday.
