Consider assisting with our child-centered programs that focus not only on engaging children but also on supporting young families on Sundays and throughout the week.
Messy Church is an intergenerational event that brings together children and the adults and families that care about them for a casual, Wednesday evening gathering once a month. A typical Messy Church will include music, crafts, a game or two, a light supper, and plenty of time for conversation and laughter. Volunteers, who help with set-up, craft activities and clean-up, are greatly appreciated!
Children Worship & Wonder offers children who attend the 10:30 a.m. service an opportunity to experience and learn about the church and teachings of the Bible in their own age-appropriate environment. Following Time for Young Disciples during worship in the sanctuary, teachers accompany children to a classroom for a time devoted specifically to them. Volunteer teachers and assistants participate in this important ministry.
Shalom Daycare has been ministering to children in the community for many years. Volunteers may assist with classroom activities, rocking babies, and other duties as directed by daycare staff.
